Chase has always done quite a bit of grinning and smiling while he sleeps, but around five weeks old, he began to start smiling with a little bit more control to it. As of the past few days, he has really seemed to begin smiling while directly looking at you. He even tries to laugh a little bit, and tries realllllly hard to make sounds....We don't think it will be long before he is completely holding his head up! This boy is getting too big too fast already! It's really hard to catch the cuteness on camera, and as soon as we try to film him, he stops!
This is a cute outfit our dear friends got him..It says "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could"! It couldn't be more true! In this photo he had been laughing, so you can sort of see the smile/laugh.

Look how chunky his legs are starting to get! He is 6 1/2 weeks old in these photos. We go for his two month appointment the last week of October. I can't wait to see how big he got in one month!
