Back At Home

Chase got to meet my grand parents, Grandma and Paw Paw this week. They were so excited to meet him. He is the 12th great grand baby! Chase's great Aunt Nancy read him his first book!

This week we tried out more of a big boy bath and he absolutely loved it!

We have had some issuses once again with Mr. Chase and his formula. He has been a pretty fussy baby during the day from the beginning and has had some colic every night, and it has gradually gotten worse. Sunday night was the worst and I knew it was beyond "normal" so we made a doctor appointment. He weighed 10.7oz and was 22in long....at birth he was 7.15oz, and 19in. He's gonna be big! After an hour long appointment, talking with the doctor, we are now on formula called Alimentum, which is very broken down for digestion. We also left with a prescription for a reflux medication. This is day two since the switch, and he seems to be a bit more happy, so lets hope we are getting better!

Brynlee's 2nd Birthday!

It's hard to believe that two short years ago, our precious neice Brynlee was born. I was given the honor of being present in the delivery room, and love her so much! She is such a good, funny, loving, silly, playful little girl! She will be welcoming baby Bryleigh in early December. My sister Kristin is also due to have baby Kyleigh in early December as well. We are thrilled!

This year's theme for the party was Minnie Mouse...that's what she loves the most right now! Another amazing cake made by Jana.

Baby Shower #2

Once again, we were given another wonderful baby shower for Chase! We have the best friends and family in the world. A huge thank you to Marsha, Hayley, Amanda, and Jana! Made with love by Chase's Aunt Jana!

Weekend in Paradise!

We couldn't wait to get up to Paradise to see the rest of Brad's family, so we packed up, and headed north to spend five wonderful days with some great people! Chase did pretty good on the road trip, only waking up to eat toward the end of the drive. He spent lots of time with his Gramma and Grampa, and Aunt Jana, Uncle Travis, and cousin Brynlee. We also got to see extended family who were thrilled to meet baby Chase for the first time! We are expecting three more babies into this side of the family by Christmas! It's gonna be so much fun!...and LOUD! :-) Brad's grandfather meeting Chase for the first time. This is the first great grandson!

Lots of Updates

Ok ok...I know....It's been awhile since my last update. I just added about seven new posts, so be sure to look at all of them. Go all the way down to the newborn photos to see the latest and greatest since our last post! It is so hard to get the time to update our blog, and I am trying to do a good job of keeping everyone in the loop with our new family! Baby Shower #1

This past Sunday we had a wonderful sip n' see baby shower. We would like to thank everyone who came to the party! We got some great gifts, and it was wonderful to see everyone! We appreciate everyone's support and encouragement during this exciting new chapter of life!

We would also like to thank those of you who have sent gifts to our house, we are so blessed to have such great people in our lives!

This baby shower was definitely one of a kind! My friends are amazing, and put together one of the most elaborate baby showers I have ever seen...the attention to detail was outstanding, from popcorn to baseball and football themed chocolate covererd strawberries, it makes me proud to have you guys in our lives! I love each one of you so much! Thank you to April, Jamie, Kim, Kristin, and Cassie!
