A Look Back...

One of the best days of our lives! April 28, 2007

Honeymoon cruise in the Carribbean

First Anniversary surprise trip to San Diego, CA.
We didn't take a 2nd Anniversary trip, we decided to do some yard work...one of the perks to married life! Haha!
This is a photo of us at my sister's wedding in 2009.

Our 3 year Anniversary trip to Key Largo and Miami/South Beach!

Happy Anniversary babe! I love you!

3 Year Anniversary Trip

Would you believe that Brad and I have been married for three years! Wow! We have accomplished so much in this amount of time! We took a long weekend trip to Key Largo, and then stayed our last night in Miami/South Beach to be closer to the airport when it was time to head home. Here a just a few of the hundreds of photos from the trip!

This was the view from the balcony of our room..gorgeous!
We went Kayaking through the Mangrove trees. These are the only trees in the world that grow IN saltwater.

Here we are about to head out on a two hour boat tour.

We had some unexpected visitors! They are so beautiful to see in the wild! And hard to photograph due to their unexpected jumps! ;-)

I have about 50 pictures of this sunset. We watched it for hours...The clouds were just right...amazing to be on the ocean and see such a magnificent thing...Breathtaking... What a beautiful world our Lord has given us!

We drove down to Duck Key to go fishing with Saltwater Experience. They, along with another charter called Tailwalker have TV shows on the versus channel on Saturday mornings.

Here we are with the owner and host of the fishing show called Saltwater Experience. They even filmed us getting on our boat and leaving for our fishing trip....watch out...we are famous now! Haha!

I told Brad I would catch the first fish...sure enough!

Here is the fishing guide and I with my Lemon Shark!

Here is Brad reeling in a HUGE Bull Shark...until it busted the line... :-(

What is this was the view from your neighborhood? Beautiful!

There was a place that you could see and feed the Tarpon...These fish are huge...I thought this picture was funny with the Tarpon and Pelicans!

Soooooo...we knew the weather was expected to be bad, and we got on the road to Miami Beach...This is what we drove through...absolutely horrible...but we made it...!

It was still raining when we got to Miami, so we took a drive through the University of Miami campus.

I'm not sure if I would ever get tired of seeing this...

Not sure if any of you have heard of or seen the TV show Miami Ink with Kat the tattoo artist... Nooooo, Brad and I didn't get tattoos, but this is her shop!

It's been awhile....

Well, it's been awhile since I updated our blog...not a whole lot new and exciting has happened.... The cupcakery has exploded, and we are busier than we ever expected to be considering we haven't been open for a full month yet. It's busy everyday, we have sold out of nearly 300 cupcakes every day except one! It has been very rewarding getting to make a product and hear from so many people how they love the product! We have lots of repeat customers, new customers, and the only "advertising" we have done is our facebook page, other than that, it has been word of mouth. Here are a few pictures from the Gruene Flour over the past month.
We donated these cupcakes to a local fundraising event called Sweetfest. The proceeds go toward preventing child abuse and neglect...a wonderful campaign to be part of.
A look at our display...This is a photo of us working in the kitchen...this is a temporary location for us. We will be moving to a space the next building down as soon as it is finished. Right now we are cramped for work space and storage space...we also only have about 5 feet of wall with outlets to use....It will be nice when we have a real kitchen with space!
