I Love You!

I couldn't have been blessed with a better husband, and I am so proud of what we have accomplished! Brad is an amazing husband and father, and Chase is the luckiest kid in the world to have such a loving, devoted, fun, hard-working, smart, talented, respectful father! We love you! Happy 1st Father's Day!

Father's Day Weekend at the ranch!

For Father's Day, we took a quick trip down to the ranch...it was nice to get away and have some time outside... Chase loves his Paw Paw and CoCo!

 We had an accidental run in with a dog (you can see his right cheek under his eye)...Chase's first real ouchie! He is ok, and didn't really seem to be too bothered by it..

Summer Fun!

So far, this summer has been tons of fun! A few days a week our neighbor Haleigh (8yo) comes over while her mom and dad are working, they think I'm babysitting her...but she is an absolute joy to have around, and a big helper! Chase absolutely LOVES her!

 Chase is really into pushing/walking...he is not walking independently, but walks holding on to just about anything..he's pretty fast! He is 9 1/2 months old.

 It's pretty cute, and although he hasn't really done it yet...he's entering that phase where kids fall alseep in the weirdest places and positions...he was awake here, but laying his head on his cow blanket, which he has never done before.

 He climbs on just about anything...the nap nanny is no longer being used in our house..

It's incredible how this little guy can light up our world! We love him!

Call us crazy!

While it may be hard to believe, our sweet bundle of joy blessed our lives 9 months ago! We are excited to begin the process of adoption again, and will hopefully (sooner than later) welcome another angel baby into our lives. We are in the very beginning stages of all of the crazy steps you have to take, so it will be August-September before we are really in the runnings...but please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and pray for that sweet baby boy or girl God wants to place in our arms forever! We'll be sure to keep you updated!



Lake Amistad, Del Rio!

Last weekend we went with our best friends to Lake Amistad in Del Rio for a family vacation/fishing trip. We rented a house, that was very nice, with a great pool, and beautiful view, although it was not so kid friendly....which kept us on our feet with three little ones! The big boys caught some great fish, Chase enjoyed his first boat trip (once he got over his freak out over wearing the life jacket), and we got some sun! Fun weekend with great friends!

Nine Months!

On this particular day, at this particular time, Chase wasn't wanting to be real cooperative with the camera! Anyway...our boy is getting too big too fast! At his NINE month appointment, he was 30 3/4in (97%) tall, and 20lb. 6oz. (44%)... He is still tall and thin! He is crawling EVERYWHERE, and very quick! I know that walking will bring on it's own challenges, but some days I am ready! He gets pretty heavy to hold, and he's at that "I want down" stage. He isn't saying any real words yet, but makes the "n" sounds, "da" sounds, and recently "ma" sounds.. We'll see which one of us wins (momma or da-da)! We love our boy!



Memorial Day 2012!

I guess blogging is better late than never! It seems that these days, time is of the essence, and I just can't seem to get this job done!

For Memorial Day weekend we went to visit my sister and brother-in-law and baby Kyleigh. We had a great time relaxing, and Chase got to go swimming for the first time...he loved it! When we got back, our friends were having a pool party, so we went swimming again!
