Be Mine!

Valentine's Day is also my birthday....and this year was by far the best birthday/Valentine's Day ever! My little Valentine was more interested in chewing on the heart than smiling for the camera, but that's ok! Brad went above and beyond, showering me with gifts! I LOVE my boys!

Fun with Family!

We went to visit and have dinner with Grandpaw and Coco last night. Chase loved playing on the floor with them!

Relaxing with Dad at home

My grandmother has had friends for many years who live in Israel. They come every few years to visit, and this time they got to meet the new babies! We can't wait to see them again!

Chase and GiGi

Chase loves his Uncle Shane, Aunt Kristin, and cousin Kyleigh!

Milestones...

I know I say this with every post...but this boy is growing, and growing toooo fast! He is allllmost sitting up by himself, and realllly working on crawling (we just need the coordination of all four at the same time). Chase loves to play on the floor these days, and he will scoot himself around, it's pretty incredible to watch, and think that just shy of 6 short months ago, he was so little! He is definitely teething, although we still haven't seen a tooth come through yet, but he makes some pretty funny faces and is sticking his tounge out a lot more.

All smiles about 99% of the time!

Everday he gains more control over his limbs, and loves to play with toys since he can reach for what he wants these days!

Chase has been noticing food for quite some time now, when we eat he stares at our food, drools, and talks to the food....but....he isn't that crazy about having his own food. At almost 6 months, he is beginning to take food from the spoon here and there, so we give at a try each day. So far he has had rice ceral, green beans, squash (which he seems to really like), and we will try peas tonight.

Brad's 30th!

My lovely husband is now 30! Brad is such a wonderful person, friend, father. He is patient, kind, loving, smart, driven, determined, helpful, understanding, compassionate, and tons more! I wouldn't be who I am today without his love and support. I really am the luckiest girl on earth to have him as mine! I didn't plan an extravagant party, mainly because I figured he would sort of expect one, and we also were out of town during this time. When Brad and I got back from Scottsdale, with the help of Brad's parents, we threw a little surprise get together with family to celebrate the BIG 30! Although it isn't out of the ordinary for everyone to get together, he didn't know it was to celebrate him until we brought the cake out. The cake was absolutely adorable, and he was surprised!

Brynlee wanted to hold Chase and Bryleigh...so cute

Scottsdale, AZ!

With the exception of one night back in November, this was my first trip away from Chase. Brad's company set a national sales goal and surpassed it! The incentive was that the national sales meeting would be some place warm and spouses woud be invited along, so we packed up at headed....well...across to Arizona! First stop was to take Chase to stay with his Gramma and Grampa in Paradise, TX. We then flew out of Dallas to Phoenix.

We stayed at the BEAUTIFUL JW Marriott Camelback Inn Scottsdale Resport and Spa! The first night was Western themed, the second day the wives went on an outing to the Desert Botanical Gardens, and then to Su Vino Winery. It was tons of fun and much appreciated! That night was a formal night. The third day was set aside for work meeting, then golf! I don't play golf, but I was more than willing to drive the cart and take in the beautiful weather and scenery!

Overall, we missed Chase dearly, but we knew he was in good hands, so we enjoyed a little bit of time away!

The rooms were all individual, this was ours.

At Su Vino, we learned about wine, did some wine tasting, then bottled our own wine to take home! Tuthill created their own label for us to put on our bottle.... lots of fun!

5 Months Old Already!

Wow! Time flies! I think I say this with every blog post, and although I knew time would fly, it's going too fast! Brad and I laugh because with each passing month, we still can't believe that this beautiful bouncing baby is ours, and each month continues to be more and more fun! Chase has been doing excellent! We haven't been to visit the doctor since his 4mo. apppintment, so I don't know his current stats, but I do know that he has "chunked up" since that doctor visit. I would guess he is about 17 pounds now. He is definitely teething, but no teeth have come through yet! The day after his 5mo. birthday is started actively rolling over, and in just a few short weeks, he will continuously roll across the room, scoot on his belly, push with his legs, push up with his hands....now that hard job of combining all of that to crawl! He has always seemed pretty strong and active, so I imagine once he masters crawling, walking/running won't be far behind! I just can't seem to take enough photos of this perfect guy, so I hope you enjoy!
