It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

This is our second Christmas in our new home, and boy how time flies... Decorating is still a work in progress, but it's so much fun (I'm sure that's exactly what Brad is thinking when he is at the top of a ladder putting lights on the house)! I wish I could win the lotto to decorate my home! I already can't wait for next year to add to my Christmas stuff! Here are a few pictures of the Christmas Tree and outside lights. If you look closely, in a couple pictures, you can see the puppies currled up on their beds by the tree. They love their warm, cozy beds during this time of year! I can't say I don't blame them...Merry Christmas everyone! :-)

Let the travels begin!

We had a fast and furious...but fun filled weekend! Friday we drove to Paradise, and made it there with only 30 seconds (literally) to spare for MaMa's 70th surprise birthday party. Saturday we had a nice relaxing lunch with the family spent the rest of the day relaxing at the house...Our sweet little niece is almost 3 months old, and we have been lucky enough to see her about once a month so far. I miss not seeing her and watching her grow, but it sure is fun when we finally get to spend some time together. We are all really looking forward our ski trip to Colorado that we leave for the day after Christmas!! It will be nice to spend time together! Sunday we drove to Abilene to see Brad's other set of grand parents for lunch. It's always nice to see family. On our way home, we stopped in to visit with our friends Josh and Amber, and their little girl Audrey (by the way Amber, your house is beautiful!). None the less, we had lots of fun in a short amount of time. We can't wait to get back up there on Christmas Eve!

The Hunter's Helper

Most of you know that our brother-in-law Shane owns a beautiful South Texas Ranch where they raise and sell deer, as well as sell hunts. Each time we go down there, we have lots of fun. I am usually the helper....for example, I help look for deer, and take their pictures, and any other wildlife for that matter! It's not everyday you get to sit in a deer blind and see deer like this, it's pretty incredible. Brad hunted a management buck, and got him! For hunting I have two suggestions...one-hunting season should be about a constant 60 degrees, not 30, and two-hunting should take place in the middle of the day, I don't like waking up early! Enjoy a couple of the photos I took.
It was COLD outside! Had to get bundled up to stay warm! I am in Brad's old hunting clothes...a little big for me, but they work!

Give Thanks on Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving at Gran's this year. My family from Colorado came down, and our friends from Israel were able to come also! Lots of good food and fun! My sister's birthday is the day after Christmas, and we are going to be out of town for her birthday, so my mom made a birthday cake for her and celebrated early. My cousins are now Red Raiders (which we are very proud of), so we of course had to take a picture showing all of our school signs!
