A Visit With Santa Claus

Last weekend we went to Tomball to celebrate Kyleigh's birthday, and we also made some time to talk with Santa. Chase and Kyleigh met Santa last year, but this was Britton's first time to meet him.

This was Chase pretty much exactly one year ago.

This is Chase this year...I'd say he's grown a little!

Please ignore the spit up...it's a big part of our lives now! Haha
This was the best I could get with the two of them together...maybe next year.
Britton wasn't too happy about being in winter clothes, sitting on Santa's lap when it was 80 degrees outside...it was pretty hot, and the kids were not real cooperative.
I figured Chase would cry with Santa this year...not because it's Santa, but because he has been in a very clingy phase the past few months and does not like Brad or myself to not be with him.
 Chase meeting Santa last year.
 Andd.....not so happy this year.

I knew the only way for me to get both kids in the same picture with Santa was for me to hold one...so here we are!
This is last year (obviously)...Chase was 3 months old, and Kyleigh was about 6 days old.

This is an awesome little Christmas Tree Farm with lots of little activities...

                                                                 My handsome boy!

Kyleigh's Birthday

Last weekend we went to Tomball to celebrate Kyleigh's first birthday! I am so blessed to have three beautiful nieces, and Chase and Britton are lucky to have them for cousins. We had lots of fun at the party, but I somehow didn't get any pictures of the birthday girl with my camera.

Britton slept off and on...

Chase and Brad had a great time playing outside most of the day...hard to believe that it's December when it was 80 degrees outside.
 A little pinata action.
I told Chase that mommy really likes candy...so get the good stuff!

Happy first birthday sweet Kyleigh...we love you!

Why do they grow so quickly?

For the past few months, Chase has been having some seperation anxiety with Brad or I are not in sight. This is Chase "helping" daddy work one afternoon.
 Aviators??!
I'd like to think my boy is smart..Without help or prompting, he can place each animal in the correct spot, facing forward....pretty incredible!
Britton sitting in her bumbo for the first time.
 He adores his dogs!

 and remotes!
In the exer-saucer for the first time. She loved it for about ten minutes... I have to pad her in with a blanket because she is so little still.
 They really love each other.
 Daddy and his sleeping beauty.
Chase is always talking on the phone...whether it be a toy, a phone, or his hand..he is developing quite an imagination.
I decorated our Christmas tree during nap time. Even after waking up, he really didn't take notice of it for a few hours..once he did, he seemed to be in awe. I asked if he thought it was pretty and he shook his head  and said "yeah yeah".

Thanksgiving Holidays!

We kicked off our Thanksgiving marathon on Wednesday afternoon at the ranch with my dad, CoCo, My sister, Shane, and Kyleigh. Somehow We were having so much fun that we didn't get any group photos. I did manage to get Chase on the saddle with his cowboy hat on!
Thursday we went out to Fair Oaks to have Thanksgiving with my grandmother and rest of our little family. We had tons of fun, and it was such a joy watching both of my angels enjoy the day!
Several years ago we had lots of heartache trying to start a family....then we were blessed with Chase...I would have never guessed that 11 short months later we would be blessed with Britton. Life may be a bit crazy sometimes...but we have LOTS to be thankful for this year, and I couldn't be more proud of the family we have become. Everyone should have the ability to experience the joy of parenthood!

I love getting photos of both of my babies...Chase loves Britton, but he doesn't like her laying on him...this is the best I could get.
Cousins! Kyleigh will be one year old tomorrow, Chase will be 15 months old tomorrow, and Britton will be 4 months old on December 6th.
 My little loves!

Uncle Shane with Kyleigh and Britton

Too much turkey for her....yeah right! Maybe next year.Britton weighs less than the turkey my grandmother cooked! She is still our tiny girl (11 pounds)...but she can hold her own!
Friday we packed up and left early in the morning to head up to Paradise to visit family and celebrate our niece Bryleigh's first birthday! Britton adores her Grampa..and I think he adores her!
He is the most handsome boy I've ever seen.
Cousin Danae is the best babysitter!

 Chase playing with puppies!
 and a baby pig!
Cousin Dustin is a great source of entertainement for Chase...they will cause a lot of trouble as they get older!

We had one busy Thanksgiving holiday, but wouldn't trade it for the world! We have wonderful family and look forward to all the memories in the making!
