We're Going Home to Texas!

We found out on Friday while we were visiting the Amish Country, that we had recived clearance from both state's ICPC offices that we could legally come home! We booked flights for Saturday and couldn't wait to get home!

After a LONG night, Chase finally fell asleep about 6:30am, and I guess I passed out next to him, Brad took this photo.

The lady who runs the agency we used was an absolute ANGEL. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for her and what she does. She was so easy to work with, and bent over backwards to make things as easy as possible for us. We will forever love her and plan on keeping in touch. We met for lunch before heading to the airport.

Chase's first airplane ride.....obviously it's not the most ideal situation for a 6 day old infant, so we kept him covered as much as possible. He tolerated the flight extremely well...slept pretty much the entire time.

As we got closer and closer to our final desitnation, all three of us were busting with excitment in anticipation of our mom's picking us up at the airport! This of course would be the first time for his Gramma and his GG to get their hands on him!
