Furry Friends!

Believe it or not, it's already time to get our puppy spayed. She just turned 6 months old, and it was time! Such a simple procedure for most dogs, of course had to turn into somewhat of a disaster for us. Piper's surgery went fine, and we had her boarded at the vet for two more nights since Brad was out of town for work, and I was working at the hospital. We got her home and we noticed that her incision wasn't healing properly and was draining a little bit too much. The vet instructed us to keep her crated as much as possible...which sounds easy, but if any of you have met our dogs, or know anything about Labs, they are NOT lazy animals. After watching her for a few days, her incision wasn't getting any better, so another trip to the vet we go. They gave her a nice wrap, purple to match her collar! Needless to say, the wrap was off by that evening. Brad left for work again, and I again was working at the hospital, so we had to put her back into boarding at the vet for a few days so they could care for her. She is now home and doing much better. Also, a couple pictures of Moose, who definitely loves to chew his Raw Hide!
